With two distinct pathways in this apprenticeship standard and numerous units to choose from within the mandatory qualification you are able to tailor this course to your specific aims and objectives.

To apply for one of our apprenticeships, you need to complete an initial assessment and a skills check to identify your current level of skills and knowledge, this allows us to ensure you are completing the correct level of apprenticeship. We request that you have a GCSE in Maths and English at level C and above or equivalent or, you are willing to undertake functional skills level 2 in English and Maths.
Course objectives: Our apprenticeships allow students of all ages and abilities to benefit from practical, hands-on experience within the early years sector to build on your skills and knowledge of managing teams, settings or childcare provision. Applying for this CYPFM apprenticeship standard, you will enhance your skills and knowledge and as part of the apprenticeship you will cover:

- NCFE Cache Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services
- NCFE Cache Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare
- Functional skills in English and maths (if required)
