Course Information
The interim Assessment enables current Sentinel Track Safety card holders, endorsed with either COSS, ES, PC or IWA to continue performing the relevant duties on Network Rail Managed Infrastructure Projects. Relevant competency recertification also takes place during the assessment.
Pre reqs: Medical, Drugs and Alcohol, sponsorship. You must currently hold the relevant full competency (eg: COSS, ES, PC, IWA) and be within the 8 week period prior to date of assessment due date. Evidence completion of work experience book with required number of entries and counter signatories.
There are no scheduled sessions for Assessments as they are arranged on request. Please call us on 0151 257 6969.
Course Objectives:
On completion of the course the candidate will be able to continue to:
1: Carry out the COSS, ES, PC and/or IWA role in line with relevant Railway Group Standards.
Duration: Sufficient to gather the necessary evidence to make a decision on the competence of the candidate
Maximum attendees: 2 (subject to meeting assessment requirements)
Certification: The Assessment will be added to your Sentinel profile immediately on completion of the assessment, subject to internet access on location. Please note: If the candidate does not meet the required standard of any safety critical observation, the Track Safety Assessor shall stop the assessment, withdraw the competence via the Sentinel database and inform the Sponsor.
