First Aid Courses: Leeds & Liverpool
Health and Safety law requires that Employers provide a safe working environment, this includes the need for suitably trained First Aiders. The following courses are fully accredited by FAA this will ensure that you have suitable, highly trained personnel.
First Aid at Work (Duration 3 days)
This three-day course covers a wide range of First aid scenarios and can be tailored to your workplace. It will give participants the skills and knowledge to treat casualties in an effective and safe manner. This course meets the statutory requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 198. The certificate lasts for 3 years, annual refresher courses are advised.
First Aid at Work (requalification) (Duration 2 days)
This two-day course is for those who have previously attended the initial three-day course and require their qualification to be updated.
Emergency First Aid at Work (Duration 1 day)
This one-day course will give participants the basic skills and knowledge to treat casualties in an emergency situation.
Paediatric First Aid (Duration 2 days)
This two-day course is designed for those who have a responsibility for the welfare of children and infants. It follows the criteria and guidelines set out by OFSTED and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Emergency Paediatric First Aid (Duration 1 day)
This two-day course is designed for those who have an interest in the Basic Life support of children and infants. It partly follows the criteria and guidelines set out by OFSTED and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Activity First Aid (Duration 2 days)
This two-day Comprehensive qualification is designed for those involved in activities in sports, leisure and recreation. Day one of this qualification will also give you Emergency First Aid at Work.
CPR and AED (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automated External Defibrillation) (Duration 1 day)
This one-day course will enable to you increase the chance of survival of a casualty by giving you the skills to use an AED competently.
